Education is the basis of life, and essential to meet one’s own potential. Today, over 30% of India’s population is illiterate. In the areas around Suzlon’s wind farms, this figure is very evident.

The Foundation’s education initiatives include increasing literacy levels, improving the quality of primary education, and providing vocational and life skill training.

Teacher’s Training in Daman, Introduction to Basic Technology in Maharashtra, and School Up-gradation in Gujarat are some of the education projects undertaken by the Foundation.    

Our efforts in education help us meet the 2nd Millennium Development Goal - ‘Achieving Universal Primary Education’.
